ABOUT ME

So you've come to find out some more about me? Lil ol' me? Well, well, well. Welcome to my little corner of the internet! My name is Jayme Fox ( obviously) and yes that is my real name even though a lady in GetGo told me it sounded fake. I'm a brand spank'n new photographer from a little town called Brockway, Pa. I actually just moved here, I am originally from Pittsburgh and travel there frequently to see my lovely parents. I absolutely love being in nature and am not afraid of jumping in a creek on a hot day with my demon of a lab puppy, Koda (jk, but no she is a major brat). I also have two cats but they don't like swimming or they would be along for the ride as well. Another person who comes on the nature trips is my beautiful wife, Harley. I'll talk more about her down below because the woman and our story deserve a whole ass section.  I can't wait to capture your love story.

My Love Story

How love saved me

Harley & I are your typical U-Haul lesbians. If you don't know what that means...google it. It's funny and true. We met and oh my god I immediately fell head over heels for this girl. We married in under six months and it has been the best decision I have truly ever made. Meeting Harley was like reconnecting with an old friend. Our souls have definitely traveled together before. She showed me a love I did not know existed. She is my biggest support and honestly would not be where I am today without her.

Why Photography?

I have struggled with mental health shit for years. Not only struggled, but I surrounded myself with it as well. My schooling, previous jobs, and personal interests all include mental health to a point. I look at photography as a way to cope with all of the bad stuff that goes on in the world. It is an art form that pleases and brings me peace. I love being behind the camera and hyping up my subjects. Getting genuine emotions and reactions that show them how beautiful they are no matter what they are struggling with. I'm just trying to normalize talking about mental health and body positivity one photo at a time.
